Facebook 101 for Beginners – 8 Weeks (Mondays) 9 am – 10:30 am – Starts May 1st

All the basics to get you started on Facebook for your business that will help promote your page, gain fans, create ads, learn basic tools and intro to ads manager. Learning the basics of analytics. Tips and tricks for lead generation.

Week One: Introduction to Facebook Pages

Having a Facebook Page is an important step in creating an online presence for your business. Learn how Pages can help you easily connect and communicate with customers — anytime, anywhere. This class will thoroughly walk you through all the steps associated with creating the ideal Facebook Page for your business, as well as help you understand how to start connecting with others through building an audience and posting.

Week Two: Content Curation

Facebook connects you with the people who matter to you so you can deliver personalized marketing at scale and realize real business results. Learn how to customize your content to create an experience that attracts fans.

Week Three: Events + Marketing Strategy

Learn why Facebook is the perfect place for businesses to connect with real people and build connections through photos, videos, and ads. See how successful brands leverage the relationships built on Facebook to drive real business results and how you can build a strategy to do the same.

Week Four: Understanding Insights + Earning Reach and Attention

Having your posts visible in people’s News Feed can lead to increased engagement, which often allows you to reach even more people. This course will show you how to organically grow your audience before you start using paid advertising. As well as how to track if your posts are performing as you want them to.

Week Five: Boosting Posts

Don’t rely on Facebook to show you which posts you need to boost. Learn how to use your strategy and insights knowledge to choose the best posts to boost for the best results.

Week Six: Promoting your Page using Ads

Use the Brand Awareness objective to optimize your Facebook campaigns toward reach and attention — two factors that are positively related to brand awareness and ad recall.

Week Seven: Analyzing Ad Performance

Learn how to analyze the performance of your ad campaigns and boosted posts and how to proceed with your results.

Week Eight: Page Updates

Learn what aspects of your page are doing well and which need some more work. Customize your page which any new features you feel will help increase performance.
