Course Description

This experiential course will provide students with hands-on opportunities to learn about and to experience Indigenous cultural caring practices, and particularly as these practices relate to the Timmins area. Weather permitting some of the course will take place outside as land-based activities, and other aspects of the course will be taught in the Northern College Tipi.
The course runs on two weekends in May: Friday May 5th from 5-9pm; Saturday May 6th and Sunday May 7th from 9-4 pm; and Saturday and Sunday May 27th and 28th from 9-4 pm.
